Golden Hour Portrait: Woman by Sea with Windblown Shag-Bob Hair

An intimate golden-hour portrait of a young woman standing by the sea, her head turned slightly toward the camera with a quiet, searching gaze. Her dark chocolate-brown hair is cut in a choppy, layered shag-bob, whipped by the ocean wind so that wisps fly out to the left and long strands fall across her face and one eye. Warm brown eyes, soft freckles across her cheeks and nose, bare matte skin, and muted terracotta-nude lips. She wears a loose, oatmeal-beige gauze linen top with a rumpled, crinkled texture. Behind her, the sun sinks low over a hazy, rippling sea, with a pale blue-white sky melting into peach and amber at the horizon. Glowing orange sun-flare and soft circular bokeh dance on the water.

Style: analog film-style lifestyle portrait, natural and unretouched, quiet and cinematic, with soft grain, gentle contrast, and faded, warm-cool tones, like a still from an indie art-house film or a Kinfolk-style editorial.Palette: warm amber, peach, and oatmeal beige set against cool slate blue and pale sky.

Lighting: low sun backlighting from the right, with a golden rim glow through the edges of her hair, soft fill light on the face, and deep, natural shadows.
