Queen Vyrra Flamecrowned Matriarch of the Children of the Flame In the volcanic kingdom of Pyrehold at the burning heart of Amia, the great Mother Mountain births one new daughter every dawn. Each is a full-grown female warrior of the Children of the Flame, forged in lava, armored by fire, and gifted with absolute mastery over flame and fire magic. Queen Vyrra Flamecrowned is the oldest and most powerful of them all, an ancient paladin-queen whose massive frame and molten crown have stood watch over her people for centuries. The Daily Birth The Mother Mountain roared at sunrise as it always did. From the glowing caldera a new warrior emerged, skin still steaming, eyes already burning with inherited fire. Queen Vyrra stood on the obsidian balcony of the Ember Citadel, her immense armored body gleaming like blackened steel kissed by dawn. Her crown of living flame flickered above her brow. In one gauntleted fist she held her colossal mace, its head wreathed in hot fire. In the other rested her enormous shield, emblazoned with the sunburst sigil of the volcano itself. The newborn knelt before her queen. Vyrra placed a burning hand upon the warrior’s head, and flames surged between them, tempering flesh and awakening power in a single breath. “Another sister for the flame,” Vyrra’s voice rolled like distant thunder across the volcanic city. “Another blade for the Children of the Flame.” Far below, the rest of her people, every last one of them born the same way, raised their weapons in salute as fire danced along their armor. In Amia, other kingdoms are born of kings and queens of flesh. Pyrehold is born of fire itself, and its queen ensures the world never forgets it.
